EMC

Just come across your site. One worry I always have with powerful single board computers is that you get to the stage of finishing product development and then find that the product fails when you come top FCC or CE emc testing. In that case your options are very limited!!!!

Just wondering if anybody has considered/tested for EMC at udoo???

Team UDOO were asked about vibration/stress tests (iirc) and they seemed open to the idea.

I don't know how different a board has to be from a predecessor (UDOO is based on a Freescale reference), to lose the predecessors EMC/CE/FCC certifications.

I don't know for sure which boards Team UDOO used as their inspiration nor what formed the basis of any prototypes they did. I'm just aware that Freescale et al have them Example
