    Hi all.

Just purchased my new UDOO Quad and still trying to configure it under Android.

I want it to boot using a static IP adress. I've followed the tutorials and read all the related posts I found but I'm still unable to manage it.

I've connected my board to the pc using a microUSB cable, and configured the ethernet using this tutorial:
    http://www.udoo.org/docs/Android/UDOO_Configure_Ethernet_Under_Android

So far, the board is able to ping external IP adresses (i.e. 8.8.8.8). However browser doesn't work, and the board is unable to ping www.google.com for example, so it seems it's a DNS issue. I don't know how to solve this. I've even tried to adding the DNS servers in a resolv.conf file under /system/etc directory but nothing seems to work.

On the other hand, and once this is solved, I would like the ethernet configuration to be maintained between reboots. Is this even possible?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Dear Samuel,
unfortunately you can't mantain the ethernet configuration between reboots.
