I'm having the same problem. Also, I get an error when using the webcam utility that says "Unable to open device".

I've now had this error with a different Udoo camera module. Fresh install, followed the tutorial. Can someone from Udoo please tell me how to fix this?

I can't see nothing with camera and have the same erro, tried an old logitech usb and worked (a bit slow but worked). Got the camera with the pack folow the video putting the blue part of the strip into correct place and camera seams not being recognized by UDOO quad board and UDOOBUNTO OS.

Any help? Should i send the camera back?

Is there anyway to check if it's hardware or software issue?

It turned out that I received two bad cameras. They sent me replacements, and they seem to work.
