Let's say one uses a UDOO Quad, Dual or a Neo in a school environment. Apart from the powered UDOO board there is no other power source. Can these boards be damaged by wrong wiring? Like from the +5v to input port, from the +5v to the +3.3v power source, etc etc. Apart from making mistakes kids are eager to experiment 'what happens if'', which is a great way to learn, but not if you have to bear the costs of replacement.
Well, I'd say to avoid these common mistakes: UDOO on metal while UDOO is on ---> this will fuck the board the same way it'd be fucked if you put it in water UDOO in water Feeding the board with more the than 15V 2A (maybe the limit is higher but you better not to test this ) Giving more than 3.3V in input to a GPIO
One time I lost the heatsink during using it. It was not destroyed, the cpu was clocked down during this time.
