    Hi,

Is it possible to change the brightness of the 7" Touch lvds screen (the one from the Udoo store) from within Android?

I've tried modifying the file /sys/class/backlight/pwm-backlight.0/brightness (after setting filesystem to RW) with values 0 (presumably screen off), 50, 100, 200, 255 etc but the brightness of the screen never changed.

I plan on using the Udoo and the 7" in my car, but would like a dimmed nighttime mode, as well as the ability to turn the screen off (with the understanding touch inputs will still be accepted!).

Interestingly, if I monitor the value of the file (by cat'ing it) and interact with the screen (swipe, select apps etc) the value switches between 5 and 102 - very strange!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Mike
