Have any of you installed Watson on your Udoo? With the specs of the Udoo it is certainly feasible that Watson could be installed on it. Do any of you have any insight?

I presume you are referring to IBM's Watson.

The question is, what can you do with Watson?

    Watson's Home:
Introducing the new IBM® Watson Explorer - a cognitive exploration and content analysis platform that lets you listen to your data for advice. Explore and analyze structured, unstructured, internal, external and public content to uncover trends and patterns that improve decision-making, customer service and ROI. Leverage built-in cognitive capabilities powered by machine learning models, natural language processing and next-generation APIs to unlock hidden value in all your data. Gain a secure 360-degree view of customers, in context, to deliver better experiences for your clients.

IBM's Watson Explorer is defined here as a machine-learning system that analyzes data from multiple databases.

    IBM Watson Explorer
IBM Watson Explorer is a platform for the development and deployment of enterprise information navigation and search applications, 360-degree view applications, and content mining applications.

The foundational components provide federated discovery, navigation, and search over a broad range of data sources and types. The software includes a framework for developing information-rich applications that deliver a comprehensive, contextually-relevant, 360-degree view of any topic for business users, data scientists, and a variety of targeted business functions.

The analytical components, which are provided in Watson Explorer Advanced Edition, help analysts transform information into insights through visualizations that reveal trends, patterns, anomalies, and relationships. The analytical components also enable custom and domain-specific text analytics, which can enhance 360-degree view and content mining applications.

    Here are the Watson requirements:

    Server Hardware Recommendations
The previous section discussed the minimum hardware and operating system requirements for a server system on which you want to develop or deploy Watson Explorer applications. Simply satisfying these minimum requirements will not provide an optimal development or deployment experience.

IBM's suggested minimum hardware and operating system configurations for Watson Explorer development and deployment are the following:

    • Development system:
      • Single Dual-Core 2Ghz 64-bit CPU
      • 4GB RAM
      • 250GB disk space
      • Supported 64-bit Linux or Microsoft Windows operating system
    • Deployable Watson Explorer Engine Server:
      • Dual Quad-Core 2Ghz 64-bit CPU
      • 16GB RAM
      • 500GB disk space, RAID5
      • Supported 64-bit Linux or Microsoft Windows operating system

    Here are some additional links.
Installing and Integrating IBM Watson Explorer
This portion of the documentation identifies the requirements for successfully installing and running Watson Explorer, explains how to install one or more of the modules that make up Watson Explorer, and discusses how to integrate Watson Explorermodules into your system administration environment.

    Dominique,
Watson is now a brand and there are a few products/services behind the single brand name/TM.
Are you talking about Watson IoT or something else?
