    Hello,

I have an Intel 520 Series 2.5" 240GB SSD on the label of which is stated "5V 1A", so I presume no 12VDC is required for this drive. I inquired on the Intel web site for documentation a week ago, but have not received a response other than a confirmation e-mail.

I purchased a 20-cm 22 Pin to 2 Pin + 7 Pin female-to-female SATA hard disk drive adapter cable http://imall.iteadstudio.com/im130814001.html that has a power connector that fits J25, not J12. So, although I have the proper connector for J12 at hand, I'd prefer to use J25 to power the SATA drive. Checking the Udoo schematic diagram http://udoo.org/download/files/schematics/UDOO_REV_D_schematics.pdf, I'm unable to locate J25, so it's difficult to determine if J25 might be used in lieu of J12.

Question: Can J25 be used to source 5VDC @ 1A?

    All clues welcome.

    ADVthanksANCE

    Best regards,
    Larry

Oops. I see now that J25 is 12V. I'll just crimp the proper connector for J12 onto the cable.
