Hello, I'm pretty new to Linux, so please excuse the newbie question. When searching for ways of disabling the GUI on boot, I see several ways, but they all refer to gdm3 or kdm...the "display manager". What's the best way of preventing Debian install from automatically starting the GUI? I'd still like to be able to start the GUI with "startx". Also, I have a couple of things running on boot (samba and other media services) that I already have set up and would like those to work as they do right now. Thanks for any tips! Scott
