I am looking to get a udoo bolt V8, 32GB Ram 512GB SSD. but need a bit of clarifications regarding usbc over displayport. I have two lg ultrafine displays, driven by a macbook pro. When the macbook pro is connected to the display, it also receives power from it. My question is: To my understanding, a udoo bolt board is perfectly capable of connecting to an lg ultrafine display through the usbc port. What I can't find any information for, is if it can also be powered by the display and without the power adapter when connected to the display, much like a macbook. Is this possible? Can anyone confirm using these board with an LG ultrafine display?
