    I am an UDOO beginner!
Now I am trying to start to use UDOO Dual, but I didn't buy starter Kit yet.
So I am starting with my own cables and power supply.

First, to give power, I have only 12V 1.5A power supply. From the specification it should be 12V and 2.0A so that 24W will be enough for UDOO board.
I am not sure that it is okay to used this power supply. If it is not okay, should I use UDOO power supply EU?
UDOO I am staying in Japan. Even if I receive the Power supply EU, i don't have converter yet.

I want to make sure that if the power is not enough, what can be affect to my UDOO.
Just shut it out? I am bit worried that I might see the white flame on board when I plugged in.

Is anyone can give any suggestions for me?

Wouldn't hurt to try it. It probably will boot up fine, I just would recommend not trying to power a lot of USB devices and such off it until you get a 2.0A...

I believe that a 1A 12V supply is enough to power the UDOO itself so you should be fine. The recommendation of 2A gives some headroom for doing things like powering USB peripherals.
