    Hey y’all,

I’m using my Udoo x86 for an in car application. I need to minimize boot time as much as possible.

I’m going with Android 7.1 as the WiFi and BT work, as well as the apps I need to run. It seems reliable enough and the boot time is decent. The only issue I run into is the Grub Boot Loader menu has a 6 second countdown. I want to remove this and have it boot straight to Android.

I’ve done a lot of reading and research and I’ve tried editing the files I need to edit in order to remove the timer, but I can’t get a bootable ISO after.

I’m about to give in and try an android based SBC in hopes that this won’t be an issue, but the X86 is more powerful.

This is my last effort! Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you
