SATA-Plug at Quad: what means only quad core version

regarding the SATA-Plug at Quad: what means only quad core version?

i have read this here:;

what does this mean.

well i want to use a SATA drive here. Can i do this!?

 

If you look here https://shop.udoo.org/eu/quad-dual.html you see that only the Udoo Quad has a Sata connector, the Dual and Dual Basic version of these boards do not have a Sata connector.

well what about the SATA - connector : how to plug a SATA HDD to the UDOO Quad!?
is it a standard connector for SATA ?
