set date and time

    hi i have a very problem.




    i installed ubuntu 12.04 in my udoo quad , but when the system reboot or when the board is off, the date return to 1 jan 1970.
    I used the command line with date -s and hwclock .
    I don't know if exist a battery system .

    Yes, you need the Battery Holder for RTC in order to maintain the current date. You can find it in our starter kit: http://shop.udoo.org/eu/catalog/product ... ategory/3/

    BTW if you connect UDOO to internet, the real time clock will adjust to the current time as well.

    Hi, same problem here.
    Clock resets when unplugged from DC, I set "network time: ON" but it won't update. Still on 1970.
    Before last month everything worked properly.
    Maybe a software problem?
