Hello, i'm using debootstrap method to install Debian armel image to sd card. Following the guide on eLinux, i have to download uImage from sources and copy it to /boot SD partition. But when i boot, i get "bad data CRC" error.. Why? Kernel load entry point is 10008000, uboot loadaddr is 0x12000000 Please help me to boot my UDOO!!!
Hi, This uImage is ok? Are you sure that is not corrupted? Have you used windows or linux for create the sd card?
Hello, i did all from Kubuntu Saucy, following the guide on eLinux. I have mounted sd card, debootstrapped all system, then i have downloaded kernel and modules from udoo download page directly on sdcard (with wget). Sync and umount. But i receive this error. FYI every time i follow this procedure i have this error. Otherwise, if i copy a "precompiled" image with dd command, everything works fine
one more thing.. the uImage that i've downloaded seems to be 4.372.753 Byte according to Dolphin. But Uboot tells me this: UDOO board => boot mmc0 is current device ** File not found boot.scr ** 4372753 bytes read in 421 ms (9.9 MiB/s) Booting from mmc ... ** File not found imx6q-udoo.dtb ** ## Booting kernel from Legacy Image at 12000000 ...
