    Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a hotspot wireless connnection in Ubuntu and accesing it from my android phone.

I want to make my Udoo a web server (tomcat) and acces it from my phone (wifi) with a client connection in order to send messages to the serial port of the Arduino. Is there a better way?

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can configure your wireless interfaces as server using an application called:

    hostapd

You can download it from repo and then you can configure a dhcp server installing isc-dhcp-server and an ftp/http installing lighttp or vsftpd!

I'm actually working on this now to replace my dd-wrt router with an Udoo. I can work with you on this.

    Yes,

Which kind of router do you want to setup?

Do you need an internet connection through ethernet cable or through modem?

Do you want a wireless router?

    Happy new year! :)
