Hello to all. I have finally finished my basic case. modeled in Blender and printed out on Prusa i3 MK3S. It is a minimalist design, lightweight, easy to assemble and sturdy. It does not need support for printing. I have used metric 3mm screws to put it together. For the honeycomb mesh, I have used a modifier in PrusaSlicer. The walls are 2mm thick. It is shared under GPL license, so feel free to adjust as you please Shared on thingiverse and myminifactory : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4714659 https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-udoo-bolt-basic-case-149174 I can share the blender files as well, but since you can import the stl files there is probably no need.
Hello, no special material, i am using standard PETG to print as it is heat and deformation resistant. I suppose PLA could be used as well but it is more brittle.
I am working on a new version with 3mm walls and additional honeycomb modifier object. The modifier will be user to cut ventilation holes out of the walls.
