I opened a UDOO support ticket, but it's been sitting for more than a week with no response so I thought I would try here.

In short, when connecting UDOO QUAD to older DVI display devices, it doesn't work properly - display flickers and reports an (invalid) pixel clock rate of 173Mhz. Attaching our video signal analyzer tells us that the TMDS Format = HDMI, not DVI.

When I use a Raspberry Pi (or really any device except UDOO), the analyzer reports TMDS Format = DVI with correct timings and the display works properly, reporting (correctly) 148.5Mhz pixel clock.

I've tried all of the UDOO patches/changes I could find, but nothing helps.

NXP imx6 boards from other manufacturers seem to allude to some DVI_mode flag that can force imx6 output to DVI format, but those appear to be board/manufacturer-specific.

Has anyone had success getting this to work with older (non-HDMI) DVI-only displays ?
