    Hello all,
I am Raja from India bought a UDOO Quad. I want to use the internet connection in our college which is having proxy settings. Can you please explain me the process of giving proxy settings in UDOO quad with "udoobuntu-udoo-qdl-desktop_2.2.0".
    Thank you.

Udoobuntu is based on Lubuntu so no GUI for Proxy settings.
    From https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/FAQ/Guides

    Change Proxy settings for Web
    • Open the lubuntu ppa site.
    • Click lxproxy, and download this file: lxproxy_0.~ppa3_all.deb
    • Open the deb file that you downloaded, and install
    • Proxy settings should be under preferences on the LXDE menu
You might not be able to install lxproxy without an existing connection see here for a workaround.

Hi, Raja! Setting up proxy settings on the UDOO Quad with "udoobuntu-udoo-qdl-desktop_2.2.0" should be relatively straightforward. I'm sure you can find several tutorials on the internet. So, don't hesitate to take a look. It's worth noting that in some cases, your college may require authentication to access proxies for market research. If you can't handle it, look for alternatives. It would be good to consider getting a static residential proxy. It will provide to you the same features. I hope my advice will be helpful.
