Hi, I want to try out Google Mobile Vision functionalities so I installed BlissOS on my Udoo x86. Is there a way to mount my Logitech webcam (B525) to the Udoo and use it with Android CameraAPI ? I tried to plug it in and got this on adb: Code: 02-21 13:04:55.897 1234 1234 E V4L2Camera: ERROR opening V4L interface /dev/video0: No such file or directory 02-21 13:04:55.897 1234 1234 E CameraHardware: Failed to initialize Camera 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: Received device exception during capture call: 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: java.lang.RuntimeException: startPreview failed 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.Camera.startPreview(Native Method) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager.startPreview(RequestThreadManager.java:288) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager.doPreviewCapture(RequestThreadManager.java:330) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager.-wrap3(RequestThreadManager.java) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager$5.handleMessage(RequestThreadManager.java:815) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:98) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:154) 02-21 13:04:55.899 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.os.HandlerThread.run(HandlerThread.java:61) 02-21 13:04:55.902 1234 1234 E V4L2Camera: ERROR opening V4L interface /dev/video0: No such file or directory 02-21 13:04:55.902 1234 1234 E CameraHardware: Failed to initialize Camera 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: Handling Camera Access Failure: 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: java.lang.Exception 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at com.android.camera.FatalErrorHandlerImpl.onGenericCameraAccessFailure(FatalErrorHandlerImpl.java:84) 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at com.android.camera.one.v2.Camera2OneCameraOpenerImpl$1.onError(Camera2OneCameraOpenerImpl.java:154) 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at android.hardware.camera2.impl.CameraDeviceImpl$CameraDeviceCallbacks$1.run(CameraDeviceImpl.java:1684) 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at android.os.Handler.handleCallback(Handler.java:751) 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:95) 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:154) 02-21 13:04:55.903 13609 13640 E CAM_FatalErrorHandler: at android.os.HandlerThread.run(HandlerThread.java:61) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: Received device exception during capture call: 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: java.lang.RuntimeException: startPreview failed 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.Camera.startPreview(Native Method) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager.startPreview(RequestThreadManager.java:288) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager.doPreviewCapture(RequestThreadManager.java:330) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager.-wrap3(RequestThreadManager.java) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.hardware.camera2.legacy.RequestThreadManager$5.handleMessage(RequestThreadManager.java:815) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:98) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:154) 02-21 13:04:55.904 13609 13655 E RequestThread-0: at android.os.HandlerThread.run(HandlerThread.java:61) Helps are much appreciated. Logitech B525 is a UVC webcam. Many Linux distributions have UVC built-into the kernel driver as UVC is the most basic type, Not sure your Android-x86 has it or not.
