    Hello,

First, thank you for your great website. In fact,I am interested in your module "UDOO Dual/Quad". Well I would like to get more further information about it if you don't mind.In fact, I was working in collaboration with a Chinese company but I didn’t find a big support from them since I haven't a big experience in Embedded Linux. Moreover, their Linux system was not stable and it’s not possible to integrate graphic libraries such us SDL, Directfb and the X platform was not supported by their system, that’s why I decided to look for another company and I guess that your module is suitable for our project.

Well, I would like to use your module in a real time full-duplex audio and video application (an intercom system), the GUI application will be monitored by a 7" capacitive touch screen LCD. So, as I said, I have some questions if you don’t mind to answer them:

•Does your board support CMOS/CCD camera? If yes, have you already integrated a driver of any CMOS/CCD camera in your Linux distribution? Could you tell me what’s the exact reference of this camera?
•Does your board support 7" capacitive touch screen LCD? If yes, have you already integrated a driver of any capacitive touch screen LCD? Could you tell me what’s the exact reference of this LCD?

•Does your board support full-duplex audio and video transmission? (From board <--> To board)

•Does your Linux distribution support X platform?

•Could you tell is it possible to buy your module from Tunisia and have you a supplier in France because our headquarters is in France?

I still have some questions, but could you, first, answer the questions above?

    Kind regards,

hi, I noticed you left me a PM. I don't work for the Udoo team, being only a user (Kickstarter backer) and so can't answer in any official capacity, but will touch on what I can.

There is a CSI header on the board, and a specific camera sold to fit which works with gstreamer and video4linux, but I've had no experience with it myself. See here for some information,
    http://elinux.org/UDOO_Camera_Module
    http://www.udoo.org/ProjectsAndTutorials/how-to-connect-udoos-camera-module/
or google "udoo camera' for more.
Information on the 7" LVDS touchscreen panel is here:
    http://www.udoo.org/faq-items/how-do-i-set-up-my-lvds/

Full-duplex analog audio is supported by a vt1613 AC97 codec chip connected to mic & speaker jacks, though to avoid undesired mixing and feedback you might need to use my patched driver, linked to here:
    http://www.udoo.org/forum/patch-for-vt1613-driver-improved-mixer-extra-inputs-mod-t1617.html

X11 (Xorg) is a standard part of the udoo linux distributions, with a Freescale-provided i.MX6 GPU driver (Driver "vivante"). Accelerated video playback only works in 'gstreamer', though.
Sorry, I don't know anything about this.

    Hi fetcher,

Thank you for your answers. In fact, I thought that you work for the Udoo team. Anyway, your answers was useful for me. Sorry, I was obliged to send you a PM because I didn't receive no answer from the forum.
