Dear friends, you may have missed our latest release, dated Friday. i.e. UDOObuntu 2 final release. It's not the final release in the sense that we're stopping working on it, but at least it's stable. The main change is the Arduino Board Manager: now the Board Manager is supported. This means you won’t have to type Code: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade to get the latest version of the Arduino Board Manager. Changelog: 2016-07-22 - v2.0: - More stable upload of Arduino sketches - Arduino sketches don't freeze up - Arduino PWM declaration issue is now solved - Deprecated M4 startup from Uboot, replaced with autostart from Linux - More RAM available for Cortex-M4 - Added an MQX exit task that can be triggered by A9 to ensure a secure stop - Arduino implemented CHANGE mode for interrupts, software side - Arduino better exit management for SPI, I2C - Arduino Compatibility with mode OUTPUT declaration for PWM - Crotex-M4 hwtimer_mqx: improved timer stability - Bugfix and performance improved - Useful Kernel modules cleaning/added - MCC stablity improvements - Better interrupts stability from Cortex-M4 side Enjoy: www.udoo.org/downloads/
Hmm, there are also lots of linux issues to be solved. /dev/ttyMCC is still not performing. UART6 is not receiving data. None of the known Arduino issues reported that need fixing are solved in this release.
I know. We've not finished to work on UDOObuntu 2. We're working right now to solve these problem. I apologize for the inconvenience.
