Hey all! Looking to bring to light/get some help with an issue I have been facing the past couple of days. I can only get the USB direct connection to work on the port which I initially plugged the board in to. I have a tb3 dock which I was always using for my USB ports, but realized if I tried to plug the board into any of the USB port on the laptop, it would fail setting up the 192.168.7.2 connection (still was able to connect via serial, however). The same thing happened with any of the other ports on the tb3 dock, and also the powered USB hub I have. I tried looking at dmesg but nothing struck out to me. If someone knows the solution to this problem (besides rewriting the image to the sd card) or could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it If relevant, I'm running linux on my laptop which only has usb c ports.
I think the solution would be changing something in your laptop because that is blocking the driver for setting up the connection. Rewriting the Neo Image will not solve it. See also https://developer.ridgerun.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_use_USB_device_networking for some hints.
