Looking to get the BOLT V8 running speedily and think I will use a newly released WD Black SN750 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD (ref number wds100t3x0c). Has anyone experience of these new WD SSDs and can confirm it will work in the BOLT. Many thanks.
Because I am unable to make the board POST to test this directly for you, and because there is no documentation for the board after the manufacturers removed it, it's difficult to suggest the compatibility of this board against the part number you've provided.
It should work, I'm using a Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD - CT1000P1SSD8 without any issues so far.
Its key-B slot still is 2260 form factor. You can use a 2280 but it intrude the key-M space a tiny bit. I.e., in that intersection zone, one M.2 card will have to slightly above the other. The M.2 electrical contact will not be optimal (on the board that is over the other, since it will be slightly tilted) but I suspect it will "sort of" work. <-- so long as you don't worry too much on the reliability The key-M slot is indeed 2280 form factor. P.S. key-E slot is underneath the key-B slot.
