Hey. what are the exact size of the udoo for cases ?
    ITX, Mini-DTX, Mini-ITX, Nano-ITX, Thin Mini-ITX , UCFF, µATX - or nothing from that?

do we really need those ugly udoo cases ?

i just don't understand why udoo is not just UCFF (4"x4") ... would work with a whole bunch of mini-cases :/

I don`t think any of the above sizes of case , atx , itx is a standard where the port are in the same place on every board.
It`s a development board / module like the arduino , raspberry Pi , beaglebone , cubieboard , it is designed to be small , so you can learn electronics cheap and easy .

And part of the problem is the desire/need to be able to have access to the GPIO pins so you can wire up circuits and stuff for various projects. If we didn't want access for those or leave room for things like the SATA cables and such, then it would be easy to make a nice clean looking small case. But it would be of limited use - few would want to be so constrained.
