Can you provide more information? Are you sure you have followed the right steps to download and create live USB using etcher?

If you not sure about the steps, then you can refer to: https://etcherpc.com/

Etcher has corrupted two brand new SD cards and one USB drive. I formatted a new 64 gig SD drive to fat 32 using gparted then flashed Raspbian to the drive. When a flash drive becomes unreadable, you need to determine first whether it results from a logical corruption or physical corruption.
