WiFI seems to be dead on XBMC and it worked before :(

Hello, I was happy that I installed an xbmc image on sd so I can stream my music and movies to UDOO. It worked all perfectly until.... it died after I watched 1 hour and a half long movie. I think it 'died', because I can not see the IP address now and it's been perfectly working till now. Also I was playing with interfaces file to set a static IP address, but it did not work. ALso for testing purposes, I have reburnt the image on sd to make sure it's not sd fault, but the IP address did not appear. I am going to download an ubuntu image to investigate the problem. However, does anyone has any suggestions about this.
