Xbmc and volumio

    Hi. Just got the udoo quad. Got two cards with xbmc and volumio on.

    I like xbmc because all media is in one place. However volumio says it's bit perfect on audio.

    I'm playing through a USB dac and sound is important.

    Can anyone confirm if xbmc is bit perfect and if there are any settings to make it.

    Don't know if XBMC is bit perfect. You can check by executing this command via ssh while playing an audio file:

    Code:
    cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
    If the bitrate and bitdepth are equal to the actual file then its bit perfect.

    Anyway, if you are looking for Sound Quality, well Volumio is born for that...
