need arduino ide 1.6.3 in ubuntu

I have a AF motor shield v2.0 . as per adafruit they support only 1.6.3 ide for arduino due.
Kindly let me know if there is any chance we can get a new image with arduino 1.6.3.
Or I need the patch for windows to use 1.6.3 ide.

porting Arduino 1.6.3. to UDOO is in our plan, but it's not a priority at the moment. Our latest release is quite recent, and it's still working.
However, using the patch for windows to use 1.6.3. ide should be viable, I didn't hear of compatibility problems for that. Give it a try and let us know, we are curious!

 

Yes it is working in windows with manual reset.
