Very Nice, but I do have a question, is this your 3d printed design, or did you order online? Otherwise, wynut just have a mount for the fan in the 3d case?

I've just finished my Udoo x86 NAS, and decided to share my build here.

Im connecting up to 5 sata drives (currently using 3) by connecting a 4-port sata pci-e card as shown here: https://www.udoo.org/forum/threads/my-mega-thread-on-regular-sized-pcie-slot.7045/ I'm using a 12V 10A power supply to support power to all drives and the udoo. I'm also using 3x 25V 470uF capacitors to balance the currency. Here are some images of the final build:

I'm using an old hdd cabinet from an old PC I had laying around. The pci-e sata card fits inside the hdd cabinet, together with 3x 3.5" hdd drives.

This is where the 12V from the power supply goes.

Here, I've soldered the 3 capacitors in parallel. I've also added 4 red connectors if I want to add anything else that requires 12V, like a fan.

This images how a sata drive is connected to the udoo through the pci-e card.

The drives are running zfs-z1, which is an alternative software raid5 implementation on the filesystem, which have several advantages. I'm very pleased with the result of the final build.
