    I was planning on running a Plex server using the UDOO Bolt Gear since its using embedded chips which I think should be good for continuous usage with some downtime once in a month. But I am curious though on the power draw of this compared to an ITX build pc (without any external gpu). Can someone confirmed for me? If searched all over Google but didn't found anything.

    Is’nt the 25W the TDP for the CPU? Having said that i find it does not seem to draw that much more in reasonable real-time use as long as you do not have anything power hungry attached via USB or SATA.

    Measuring it with kill a watt clone, having an ssd sata drive, usb keyboard and mouse, monitor, and an external usb disk, it went around 32watts in total for me.

    Yeah but how foes it compare to a normal itx pc build in terms of power draw? is it more efficient?

    For server use I see a power draw of ~14 W 99% of the time.

    Of course, I have no power hungry devices installed; only
    * M.2 NVMe SSD,
    * M.2 SATA III SSD,
    * 2,5" SSD.
