Hello, I'm evaluating UDOO QUAD and I have a question regarding LVDS:
can I use 2 screens (1LVDS + 1HDMI) under linux? Ihave read a previous discussion but I'm little confusing about code to modify...

I need that one screen is an extension of other.

    Regards

If I quote the documentation it cannot:
What discussion did you read where it was supposed it perhaps cold be possible? Because some people can always find the impossible :)

So in that discussion it is mentioned that it could be possiblke by editing the Device Tree configuration manually and not by the standard device tree editor. https://www.udoo.org/docs/Cookbook_Linux/Device_Tree_Editor.html
Modifying manually looks simple but it is not. I personally never have done this. As far as I know no one ever tried to do it so if you succeed to modify the device tree there is no guarantee that Linux will understand it or that it will perform as expected.
