Hey UDOOers, we’re back from the holidays. Missed us? We surely missed you. And we all needed a break from 2020, ‘cause this year has been…unexpected in many ways. We hope everyone is safe. This has been a summer like no other in the UDOO office. Well, actually, the office is still empty, and everyone is working from home. We felt in a new UDOO website mood.
That was an unexpected change that brought joys, ‘cause there’s nothing like working in your underpants while gorging on chips. But there have been challenges: being apart is hard logistically and mentally. Additionally, some of us live in the countryside, and surprisingly farm animals don’t care about our workflow, so roosters keep happily singing from dawn to sunset like it’s none’s business.
However, the whole team kept working, studying new products and new ways to connect with our UDOOers.
The year 2020 will not be forgotten by any of us, and everyone is still battling a pandemic like the world has never seen before. But we won’t let it stop from pushing forward and keep building the products of your dreams.
Each member of the team, from their homes, has been laser focused on making the most of this situation and developing new ideas and completing new and old projects.
Our new plans are like a puzzle, and today we announce the first piece.
Our first website was built in 2013 when our very first board launched! Later, in 2015 we came out with a new version. Ever since, it has been the best way to connect to the world. Back then, we were so proud of it and continuously check for every new visit and ping. Through the years, though, we have focused on the next new thing: the next new board, the next new product to make our UDOOers proud, the next new groundbreaking idea. Through the years our website has been our faithful companion, one that we have taken for granted.
That’s why it needed to change and evolve, just as we, as a company, did. The world of technology evolves at lightning speed, and the website needed to be modernized. The year 2021 it’s going to be full of new releases, both hardware and software, and the new website needed to change to accommodate our new coming…stuff. You’ll see, we’ll awe you like never before!
Today we’re proud to announce that the new UDOO website has been released, and we couldn’t be prouder!
It’s weird to leave behind our beloved website, the one that reminds us of our humble beginnings as a group of dreamers that wanted to shake the world of technology with something groundbreaking. Thanks to you we made our dream come true time and time again and today UDOO is a brand known throughout the world. You made our dreams come true.
It’s like our baby grew up and went to college, and we’re now welcoming a new one to our family.
Let’s take a tour! The main page is brand new, sleek and efficient. It features our newest products, our most recent blog posts (just like this one) and it allows easy access to everything else: our community tab, the shop, the amazing projects you’ve done with our board and so much more.
We also have a brand new shop, redesigned to make it more user-friendly and efficient. It’s not just the look and feel of it that has improved, but miles and miles of code made it even better.

So…yeah, it’s a whole new world. A whole new UDOO website! But why now? Well, we’re preparing to make a big jump, and we couldn’t do it without the right website to support us. We’re going to say goodbye to some things, and something new will be announced and join the family…but you’ll now in all due time.
