Friends and fellow makers,
today we’re headed to Turin (Italy).
What for, you ask?
Droidcon is nothing short than one of the biggest event in tech for Android developers, designers and marketers that work with Android. Basically, it’s an all things Android you shouldn’t snub lightly.
The event will take place at Centro Lingotto, Turin. UDOO will have a dedicated booth, where we are going to showcase all the recent additions to the family, such as UDOO X86 and UDOO Blu, together with UDOO QUAD and UDOO Neo.
The main event lasts 2 days, from April 6th (tomorrow) to April 7th – and guys, the speakers we’re gonna hear at the conference are the crème de la crème. This event is not just a pinwheel of tech evangelists: developers from Uber, Google, Udacity, Amazon are going to host a talk.
And it doesn’t stop there!
On April 8th and 9th there will be a hackathon, and guess what? We’ll provide you with a bunch of UDOO Dual/Quad, UDOO Neo and – wait for it – UDOO BLU!
(apart from us, of course).
Isnt’ this exciting?
The hackathon will start at 10 AM on Saturday 8th, up to Sunday 9th, 6 PM. But don’t miss Saturday at 9 o’clock, since you gotta complete your registration. Make sure you do.
Needless to say that the hackathon will be non-stop.
A quest for true heroes only.
And on Sunday after the hackathon there will be the awarding ceremony of the best projects.
Among the prizes,
It’s gonna be an amazing week.
Finally, you’ll be happy to know that we’re releasing a new library for UDOO Neo, Dual and Quad we’ve developed to make the communication between Android and Arduino a piece of cake.
The library is already online on GitHub.
Well, actually, it’s a couple of libraries.
This is for UDOO Blu: https://github.com/UDOOboard/UDOOBluLib-android.
This one instead is for UDOO Neo, Dual and Quad: https://github.com/UDOOboard/UDOOAndroidSerial
We’re gonna test it shortly for UDOO X86 too.
And shortly we’re gonna put it in the website.
Shall you drop us a line with your feedback?
